LOS ANGELES (UPl)-- There was a collective sigh of relief among defensive linemen in the National Football Conference Wednesday when the inter-con- ference trading deadline passed and the Los Angeles Rams failed to surface with O.J. Simpson.
Simpson, who has won three rushing crowns in the past four seasons with the Buffalo Bills. had asked to be traded to the Rams last spring. Simpson not only asked to be traded. he staged his own power play by saying he would not return to Buffalo under any circumstances this season.

The Frisbee team. which in its three year existence has slowly graduated from the activities page to the sports page. is being led this year by tri-captains Ed Davis. John Fiedler and Dave "DJ." Johnson. along with the perpetua|ly~psyched Dan Buck- ley. who is one of the top I00 ultimate Frisbee players in the country.
The highlight of the team's fall schedule will take place October 9th when the Huskies face Rut- gers University and Hampshire College. the top two squads in the world of ultimate frisbec.
The team is the current holder of the 24 hour distance group mara- thon record of 257 miles.
