On a visit to the United States in April 1959, Cuban Premier Fidel Castro traveled from New York City to Boston, Massachusetts, on a New Haven Railroad train and made several stops along the way, including this one at Union Station in New Haven, Connecticut. This photograph, taken on the railroad station platform, shows Castro greeting members of the press and railroad employees.
