Show morePhotograph from the rear of No. 3 School showing the back door and attached wood shed. The flag pole is visible over the roof at the font of the school. A car with a canvas top sits by the school house. The model name (unclear-Kindell?) is on the front grille and the license plate "110282" is mounted in front of the steering wheel. Connecticut records indicate it is registered to "May Mills" . School No.3 was built and opened in 1823 and used until 1938. In 1981 it was rescued from demolition by the Avon Historical Society and concerned local citizens and turned into the Living Museum. Show less
