Description
The East Foxboro railroad station was located in Foxborough, Massachusetts and was a stop on the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad when this shot was taken. The line was originally built by the Boston & Providence Railroad and opened in sections beginning in 1834. The Boston & Providence was leased by the Old Colony Railroad in 1888 which was in turn leased by the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad in 1893. Photograph taken by Lewis Herbert Benton.
