Description
California Intermountain Pomo treasure bowl with 16 decorative elements equally spaced around the rim. Woven reed coil construction. Conical shape with truncated flat bottom. Basic tan color and decorated with brown geometric pattern. Each hanging element consists of four wampum discs and a triangular abalone shell fragment strung on twine. Two elements are detached and accompany the bowl. Attached tag reads " Pomo treasure bowl with wampum and abalone shell Harney cal - bought 1906"
