Description
Cordage railroad station, located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, which was served by the New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad. The station was originally built by the Old Colony Railroad in 1873, and was originally known as North Plymouth station, but was renamed Seaside station in 1880. The New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad leased the Old Colony Railroad in 1893, and the station was finally renamed Cordage station in 1925 for the nearby Plymouth Cordage Company.
