Description
Narrated short black and white film in two parts about aviation technology in Connecticut, opening with a letter of support of the film by then-governor John H. Trumbull. The film traces the history of aviation in the state, opening with 1921 footage of an air meet at Brainard Field, and depicts the Brainard Field take-off of a press plane during the 1930 New England Air Tour. The bulk of the film shows footage of the interiors of Pratt & Whitney, Chance Vought, and Sikorsky. This is the preservation format.
