Description
Chatham, Massachusetts, railroad station, which was served by the New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad. The Chatam Railroad, for which the station was originally built, was leased to the Old Colony Railroad in 1887. In 1893, the New Haven Railroad took over the Chatham branch of of the Old Colony Railroad. Passenger service for the station ended in 1931, and the station was abandoned in 1937. The building now serves as the Chatham Railroad Museum. It is listed under the National Register of Historic Places.
